Appeal after war memorabilia reported stolen

 

Kent Police is appealing for information after Second World War memorabilia was reportedly stolen from a property on the Isle of Sheppey.

Among the items missing are two Browning machine guns with associated equipment and ammunition, and a military radio.

The weapons are all fully deactivated and cannot be reinstated, and none of the ammunition is live.

A baseball glove dating back to the 1940s was also among the memorabilia, which was reportedly stolen from outbuildings in the Thorn Hill Road area of Warden.
