Written by on 28 May 2016

FREE movie event on the first Wednesday of every month at No.34 High Street Sittingbourne

Roll up, roll up! Come and see Charlie Chaplin’s 1928 film ‘The Circus’ at 7pm on Wednesday 1st June at No.34 High Street, Sittingbourne in Kent!

Feeling inspired by the flamboyance of the Sittingbourne Carnival (taking place on 18th June), the Swale Film Society are bringing this silent comedy to Ideas Test at No.34.

In this movie, Chaplin plays the well known character of The Tramp who accidentally becomes a crowd sensation in the circus carnival! While doing so he meets and falls in love with the ringmaster’s beautiful daughter. But does she feel the same way?

Join us to experience a whirlwind of slapstick comedy and laugh out loud mishaps in this Academy Award winning masterpiece. This film is not to be missed!

This is a FREE event! However, donations towards showing the film are always greatly appreciated.

Doors open at 7pm. Film starts at 7:30pm
Refreshments & popcorn are provided.

We hope to see you there!
