Joining Pete Finch in the next week on his show is Damian Walters.
Damian Walters, CEO of the British Institute of Kitchen, Bedroom and Bathroom Installation, is climbing the treacherous precipices of the world’s largest mountain, Everest, for The Furniture Makers’ Company, the furnishing industry’s charity.
In April 2017, Damian will depart for Nepal, then onto the north face of the mountain in Tibet where the challenge, to climb the highest land point on earth, at just over 29,000 feet above sea level, begins.
He will be taking a flag adorned with supporters’ names (no company names), which will be secured to remain on top of the world forever.
Damian is rasing money for the Furniture Makers Company, they encourage new talent with an extensive education programme for schools, students and young professionals.
