At 2.23pm on Thursday 15 September, Kent Police received a report of a serious road traffic collision on the coastbound carriageway of the A2 near Canterbury.
Police Officers, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the air ambulance were at the scene.
Road closures were put in place on both carriageways between Brenley Corner and Harbledown.
