Stitch A Christmas Mini-Hamper – Sewing Taster Workshop with The Stitchist

Written by on 4 December 2016

December 8 @ 10:30 am – 12:30 pm

Did you watch ‘The Great British Sewing Bee’ this year and think “I’d love to be able to sew something…or anything”?

Ideas Test are hosting a special Festive Sewing Taster session, where you can pick up skills with a needle and thread that you never thought you had in you.

Don’t worry if every sewing project you’ve done before has ended in knots or needle-stabbed fingertips, The Stitchist is here to help you!

The Stitchist is Alison Blackburn, a talented Sittingbourne local, and highly skilled tailor and textile artist, who has worked throughout Swale and North Kent.

Alison will teach you, whether you’re a novice or skilled in needlework, the skills you need to make a wonderful multi-use, mini-hamper.

You can either use it to store all your sewing items or give it as a handmade Christmas gift for a loved one.

Tickets brought after 1st December or ‘On-The-Door’ will be £15.
