A249 Road Works planned for next week
Highways England are planning 4 nights of road works on the A249 southbound starting on Monday 14th August until Friday 18th August between the junctions with the A250 Queenborough Road and the A2 at Sittingbourne.
Road repairs are planned overnight to avoid congestion to Sheppey’s roads. Lanes on the A249 southbound from Sheppey to Sittingbourne will be closed at times between 8:00pm & 6:00am each night/morning to carry out essential repairs.
