Tricia Clulow On 8 February 2016 at 13:30
Perhaps if we paid to come over the bridge they would have a better job of building the blasted thing , i:e safety ?

Doesn’t make much sense only closing it one way winds gonna affect both sides surely
Kev Wright On 8 February 2016 at 13:53
The Bridge is as safe as the idiot drivers that use it!…. Think about it! ?

When I drove onto the island, at lunch time, the mobile warning signs were on saying” Bad Weather Sheppey Crossing Closed” however they were dimly lit and many drivers either didn’t see them or ignored them and drove over. I think there should be a barrier or dedicated warning lights at the start of the bridge ? they couldn’t cone it off as wind would blow the cones all over the place! ?

I’d just like to say thank you to all the marvellous car drivers who let me filter past on my motorbike this evening. I’d also like to apologise to the lady who I scared to death. I could see that she was about to pull onto the roundabout in front of me from about 30 yards away. Blimey, it did make her jump when I bibbed my horn at her. Lol ?
