Appeal following reported assault in Minster

Officers investigating an assault in Minster are appealing for information.

It is reported that between 8pm and 8.30pm on Wednesday 24 May 2017 a teenage girl was confronted by four youths, two boys and two girls, in The Leas.

They verbally abused the victim before one of them, a male, kicked her leg – causing her to fall to the floor.

The suspects are all described as being white and aged in their mid to late teens.

The first male is described as being around 5ft 3 or 5ft 4 ins with mousey blonde hair. At the time he was wearing a black Nike baseball cap, a dark jacket, a blue t-shirt and black trousers. He was also wearing Nike trainers.

The second is described as being around 5ft 4 to 5ft 5ins with short, dark, curly hair. He was wearing a grey t-shirt, grey fleece shorts and grey trainers.

The first female is described as being 5ft 6ins and of a medium build with blonde hair tied into a top knot pony tail. She was also wearing blue jeans and a white top.

The second is described as being a similar height and was wearing white jeans and a pale blue top.

As part of their enquiries officers are keen to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time.
