Attempted Robbery – Eastchurch

Kent Police is investigating a report of an attempted robbery at Eastchurch near Sheerness.

 

It is reported that between 12.50pm and 1.30pm on Saturday 18 February 2017, a man in his 40s was walking along Church Road talking on his mobile phone when two men assaulted him from behind.

 

The victim fought back and one of the men ran off down Church Road towards the High Street. The other ran off in an unknown direction.

 

Nothing was stolen and the victim reported bruising to his right cheek and wrist.

 

Both of the men are described as white, 5ft 6in to 5ft 8in tall and of medium build. One of them had scruffy dark hair and was wearing a black hooded top with the hood down, black tracksuit bottoms with white stripes down the sides and black trainers with a red heel strap. The other had dark clothing.
