Christmas parking scheme in Swale

Written by on 22 November 2017

Swale Borough Council soon launching “Christmas Parking Scheme”

This December, Swale Borough Council are making it easier for you to reach Swale’s high streets.

Building on feedback from last year’s trial, our 2017 scheme is tailored to each town centre, helping more people get to the shops – so you can get your Christmas shopping sorted.

Read on for details of what they are offering in each town centre.

The Leysdown shuttle will run every 28 minutes from 9.30am until the last bus departs Leysdown at 5.54pm, returning at 6.22pm.

Parking Vouchers

You can download parking vouchers here. There’s no limit to how many times you can use each voucher, or to how many copies you can make.

However, please bear in mind that outside the times listed above and on the vouchers, normal parking regulations apply. You will incur a penalty notice if you attempt to use a voucher outside of these times.

You must also ensure that your voucher is clearly displayed in your front windscreen. Again, if you fail to do this you will incur a penalty notice.

Parking vouchers will also be posted through your door, with more available in the winter issue of Inside Swale, at council offices and in local shops.

If you have any questions about any element of the parking scheme, please contact the Parking Operations team by emailing: parkingoperations@maidstone.gov.uk.
