Developing Swale’s Visitor Economy Strategy

Written by on 29 June 2017

Swale Borough Council is developing a Visitor Economy Strategy that will enable and support locally led tourism activity over the next three years.

We need to talk to people who are involved in tourism at the sharp end – accommodations and eateries, attractions, activity providers, event organisers, venues and organisations which look after our historic places and countryside.

We want to know your views on what’s great about your area, the issues you’re facing and what you think can be done to support the visitor economy.

One way we’re gathering your views is through an online survey – just click here: https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/swalevisitorstrategy2017

And we also have a number of focus group discussions coming up:

  • Sittingbourne – 12 July at Ideas Test, 34 High Street, Sittingbourne
  • Faversham – 13 July at the Guildhall, Market Place, Faversham
  • Isle of Sheppey – 18 July at Blue Town Heritage Centre, Blue Town

all starting at 2pm and finishing by 4.30pm.

If you would like to attend or would just like to speak with us directly please contact sarah@sarahloftus.com or call Sarah on 07785 932276.
