BRFM Email Fraud Warning from Minster Parish Council

Minster on Sea Parish Council send out Warning
Today, residents of Minster Parish Council have received warning from the Parish Council to be aware of fraudulent emails.
Some residents have reported receiving an email claiming to be from Greater Manchester Police, notifying of a speeding offence and asking to “Please open attached for more details”.
Please don’t open the message, this is a scam!
Police authorities will write to the public to notify of speeding offences, they will not e mail the individual.
