Sheerness Household recycling centre temporary closure
If you plan on having a “clear out” or working on the Garden, the Sheerness household recycling centre will be closed from Monday 9th July to Friday 13th July.
The centre will re-open on Saturday 14th July at 8am.
The planned closure is to allows works to be carried out to eliminate “pot holes” on the site.
The alternative site for household recycling is Gas Road, Sittingbourne.
The closure was posted on the Kent County Council website earlier this week, and Cllr Cameron Beart announced/shared the news on his Facebook Page.
The closure will NOT affect waste refuse collections on the Isle of Sheppey. Green, Blue & Brown bins will still be collected on their usual collection days.
