Picnic in the Park at Barton’s Point Coastal Park
Sunday 21st August 2016 Come along with your picnic for a family day at Barton’s Point to help raise some money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
We have BRFM Roadshow joining us and lots of activities and entertainment lined up for you and your family…
Matty Evan’s Magician, a performance by the Island Allstars Twirling Academy, Big Fish Arts & Crafts and their Band, Bouncy Castle, Face Painting, Coconut Shy, Hook a Duck, Tug of War, Steam Trains, Pony Rides and many competitions including some for your dogs, as well as Welly Wanging and lots more.
Make-A-Wish Balloons are confirmed. A great way to remember those we have lost, those who are fighting and those who survived! They will be available for £1.50 on the day. We would like to let them all off together at 5.30pm
LOOK OUT for a car full of balloons on the day and if you can guess how many balloons are in it then you could be in the chance of winning a 3 Night Weekend Caravan Break at Warden Springs!!!
We also have a 3 Night Camping Break up for grabs too!!

CALLING ALL DOG OWNERS!!
Who would like to enter into our dog competition which will be held on the day?
We will be running 3 categories……
– Best Dressed Doggy
– Most Poised Pooch
– Cutest Canine
Our judge, an all round animal lover, Sally Cooper will be there on the day to oversee the contest.
Some of the emergency services have also confirmed that they will be joining us for the day!!
Big Fish Arts will be there on the day with a mask making craft table for children and they will also have their band there to play for us too!
Seafields Riding School have confirmed they will have 2 ponies there on the day! We look forward to seeing them
Island Allstars Baton Twirling Academy will be performing for us on the day!!
