Thieves target The Abbey Cake Shop, Minster
The owners of the Abbey Cake shop are appealing for witnesses with information after discovering thieves had targeted their business during the early hours of Sunday morning.
Owners of the popular Minster business, took to Facebook after discovering the front door of their shop had been smashed and cash had been stolen during the burglary, including a charity collection.
The post of Facebook, seen by hundreds of followers of the Abbey Cake Shop, the owners are said to be left feeling “Violated” and posted “Some low life scumbag felt the need to break into our little shop and steal money from us including charity money and tip jar.
“Did anyone see anything between 12am and 8am. Please help us find the person responsible.
“The front door was smashed and they climbed through. Feel violated.”
Kent Police are currently investigating the burglary and are appealing for any witnesses to contact Kent Police on 101.
