BRFM Ofcom Announce Licence Extension to 95.6 BRFM

PRESS RELEASE – OFCOM ANNOUNCES LICENSE EXTENSION TO BRFM COMMUNITY RADIO FOR THE ISLE OF SHEPPEY – MAY 2016
As many people already know, 95.6 BRFM have been on air for nearly ten years (come October 2016). It is with great pleasure that we can announce Ofcom’s decision to extend our licence until 29th October 2021.
BRFM have been working hard to supply a service to the community that is constantly updated and fresh and we feel we have achieved that with the support of our Volunteers and listeners.
Having recently launched a new sound of BRFM, which was months of dedicated hard work and a new App on the way, BRFM are pleased to be carrying on a Community Service for its listeners.
All the volunteers at the station would like to thank the listeners and supporters of BRFM and look forward to providing another five years of Truly Local Radio for the Isle of Sheppey.
