Officers appeal for information following Sheerness assault

Kent Police is appealing for information after a man was reportedly assaulted in Sheerness.
Officers were called to Sheerness High Street at 2.06am on Saturday 27 August following a report that a man had collapsed.
Police attended along with South East Coast Ambulance Service and the man was treated for serious laceration injuries. He was taken to a London hospital where he was treated for injuries which have been described as life changing.
It was reported that the man was assaulted by two men who were part of a larger group that also consisted of about five women and another man.
Description
The suspects have been described as a white man, aged in his twenties with a medium build and wearing jeans and a blue shirt with a stripe. A second man, also in his twenties and wearing a white t-shirt, is also being sought.
