Officers investigating a serious collision in Brielle Way, Sheerness, are appealing for witnesses.

A motorcyclist in his mid-20s was airlifted to a London hospital following the incident at about 10.10am on Wednesday 10 February 2016, and remains in a critical condition.

He was riding his black Yamaha YQ 100 near the Blue Town end of Brielle Way when he was involved in a collision with a red Citroen C2.

They are also appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision to come forward.

PC Jamie Woodhams said: ‘Some unexplained brake fluid has been found on the road surface and we are particularly keen to hear from any HGV drivers who may have driven along Brielle Way and who later discovered a leak.

‘I would urge anyone with information who has not already spoken to us to call the witness line on 01622 798538 or email sciu.td@kent.pnn.police.uk quoting reference 10-0270.’
