Police appeal for witnesses after man killed by car in Bapchild.
Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was hit by a car on the A2 at Bapchild.
The crash happened just before 23:30pm on Friday (9th February 2018) on the A2 at Bapchild, two miles east of Sittingbourne.
Kent Police said a silver Ford Fiesta Zetec which had been travelling towards Sittingbourne hit the man, who died at the scene.
Kent Police Serious Collision Investigation Unit have launched an investigation into the circumstances of the collision.
Details of the man killed at the scene have not yet been released.
The accident is believed to have happened close to the junction with Tonge Road near to Hempstead House Hotel.
