Peter Finch presents the Breakfast Show, Monday to Friday from 6am – 9am, and presents Dad’s Can’t Dance om Wednesday evenings 7-20pm

Peter started out on Greenwich Sound, and has worked at Radio Thamesmead, Millenium 106.8, Meridian Radio, Maritime Radio, Charlton Live, BBC Radio London, BBC Radio Kent (match summariser) and is a commentator for Charlton Athletic.

Pete is a qualified RYA Skipper, loves watching football, cricket, and listening to music.

Pete’s pet hates are people who claim he cannot dance.

Pete has varied musical tastes, but loves Pink Floyd, Tears for Fears and has an unhealthy interest in Shania Twain.

embarrassing moments for Pete is a tough one, as there have been numerous, but the stand out is performing as a sailor in a show at Lewisham Theatre, a quick change had him removing a lovely pair of white tights to be replaced with white shorts, in his hurry Pete removed his underwear as well, strolled out on to the stage, the show was a matinée and was full of pensioners having a jolly afternoon out, in the middle of the time he had to get down on one knee, just as he did this his shorts split completely, the ladies in the front row nearly had a funny turn!

One of Pete’s claims to fame is that he got 10 out of 10 on Bits and Pieces on the Radio 1 Roadshow and earned himself congratulations from Steve Wright.
