Brother pleads for help to find  missing Sheppey schoolgirl

The step-brother of missing Sheppey schoolgirl Abigale Spree has spent the day visiting local businesses asking them to display posters of the missing schoolgirl, who was last seen over a week ago.

Abigale, aged 15, was last seen at 10pm on Saturday, July 22, in the Bedson Walk area of Rainham where she lives with her father.

Jordan Dean, (Step-brother), said: “This is so out of character of Abigale. The police have contacted all her friends but there is still no news.

She left her mobile phone indoors. Although she took her tablet, none of her social media sites have been accessed. The family say this is very unusual for Abigale.

Jordan spent Tuesday touring his hometown of Sheerness with his friend Craig Jenkins asking shopkeepers to display missing posters of his sister.

Abigale has strong links with the Isle of Sheppey. She goes to the Sheerness site of the Oasis Academy and her mum lives in Sheerness.

Her mum Debbie Cornish said: “It doesn’t matter where she is or how far away she is, we just want her to let us know that she’s OK.

Abigale has links with Sittingbourne, Canterbury and Herne Bay.

If you have any information, call Kent Police on 101 quoting missing person reference 23-307.
