Police appeal for witnesses to Sheerness burglary

Kent Police is appealing for witnesses to a reported burglary in Sheerness.
Officers were called at 4.27am on Thursday 16 February 2017 to a report of a burglary in Galway Road, Sheerness.
A man was reported to have broken into the home of a man in his seventies, before the victim disturbed the suspect who then ran out of the house in the direction of Invicta Road.
The man is described as 5ft 6ins, stocky build and wearing dark clothing and a balaclava. It is believed the suspect gained entry through a window and may have cut himself by doing so.
