This Christmas Day will mark the anniversary of the death of George Michael.
He passed away on Christmas Day last year from natural causes, found in his bed by his partner, Fadi Fawaz.
A campaign to top the charts on the first anniversary of the singer’s death has seen a huge increase in downloads and streams. Last Christmas, originally released by Wham! in 1984, never made it to the coveted festive top spot, charting at number two.
