BRFM Renewed witness appeal following fatal collision

Officers investigating a fatal collision near Sittingbourne are renewing their appeal for witnesses.
At 9.55pm on Thursday 18 May 2017, a white Mitsubishi L200 truck travelling on the A2 London Road in Newington was in collision with a parked unattended vehicle and a boundary wall near to the junction of Playstool Road.
One of the passengers of the truck, a 17-year-old boy from Medway, died at the scene.
Three other people suffered injuries and were taken to hospital.
Officers are particularly keen to speak with the driver of a dark coloured, medium sized hatch-back style car which passed through the scene.
It was travelling from the direction of Keycol Hill towards Rainham – the same direction as the L200.
The driver of the vehicle is not suspected of any wrongdoing however officers believe they may have important information on the incident.
