Robbery reported in Minster

Officers investigating a report of a robbery in Minster-on-Sea are appealing for witnesses to come forward. At around 11am on Monday 26 June 2017, the victim, a man in his 60s, reported that while driving down the Broadway, he was approached by a man who made him drive to a cul-de-sac near Kent Avenue. A quantity of cash was stolen and the victim’s hands were tied to the steering wheel of the car before the offender left in the direction of Kent Avenue. The victim was not injured during the incident. Officers are asking for anyone with information about the incident, or if they were in the area at the time and saw anything suspicious, to call Kent Police on 01795 419119 quoting XY/30422/17.
