This Week on Rockin’ Dave’s Rock n Roll Show, we have a very special guest Mr Personality himself Lloyd Price. Lloyd started out on Specialty records in 1952 producing one of the first rock n roll tunes, Lawdy Miss Clawdy (featuring a young Fats Domino on piano). A young Elvis Presley covered this 4 years later. Lloyd went on to have huge hits like Stagger Lee, Where Were You (On Our Wedding Day) and of course Personality. He wasn’t just another Rock n Roll star he was a true Innovator, and we here at BRFM are over the moon at having him join us over the phone from the USA.
