SNAP Portrait Photography – Free Workshop – Family Arts Festival
Written by karen on 23 October 2016
Following on from her successful workshops in Sheerness Dee O’Bray will lead a free half-term photography workshop for 14 – 18 year olds.
This workshop focuses on the basics of portraiture. It doesn’t matter what camera you’re shooting with be it smart phone, or DSLR, here is where you’ll learn how to get the most out of your portraits. Learn how to identify light and shadow, and how to work with them to create stunning imagery of your friends and family. Learn how to pose people to create visual harmony in your picture.
We’ll show you how to compose your shots to draw the viewers’ eye right to your subject. If you want to get into photography, but don’t know where to start this is the workshop for you. You’ll get hands on experience on posing your model and creating dynamic lighting effects, so that when you leave you know how to create beautiful images of your own.
Dee will run 3 x 45 min workshops from 11am. Book in advance to avoid disappointment!
Book either on Eventbrite, by emailing us at [email protected] or give us a call on 07713865955
