UPDATE – Property returned.
Written by karen on 3 January 2016
Earlier this evening we reported that thieves had struck at the BRFM studios here in Minster, Isle of Sheppey. The story contained supporting CCTV footage, which appears to have gone near viral. Whilst this footage remains with Kent Police and investigations are ongoing, we are happy to report that stolen goods have since been returned to us directly.
As we write this story, within three hours, we reached over 14,500 people with 269 shares worldwide and 5,100 news story views via our website. A spokesman for BRFM said “The power of the community is astounding. This should be a lesson to anyone that wants to steal from another and to think again, first about the morals, and second, the power of social media! The safety and security of our staff, visitors and property is paramount and this goes to show we have sufficient security measures in place 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. The site is constantly monitored by CCTV, which today proved effective in capturing thieves in the act.”
BRFM has not received comment from our neighbours regarding our unwelcome visitors further activities on leaving our site.
BRFM wishes to thank you for your support and welcomes you to a very good 2016!

Good news. But still don’t make it right. Hope they pay big time.
