Traffic warden reportedly driven at in Eastchurch

 

Officers investigating an incident in which a traffic warden was reportedly driven at have released CCTV images of a man who may be able to assist them.

 

The incident happened in High Street, Eastchurch, shortly after 2.45pm on Friday 8 July 2016.

 

It was reported that the victim had asked a man to move his car as it was parked on zigzags next to a pedestrian crossing.

 

While a parking ticket was being printed it was reported that the man accelerated towards the traffic warden and collided with him before driving away.

 

The victim was not seriously injured but suffered pain to his neck and shoulders.

 

Enquiries into the incident are ongoing and officers urge anyone who recognises the man in the CCTV images to call the appeal line on 01795 419119 quoting reference XY/26503/16.
