Wednesday 20th July at 22.30hrs – Sheppey Coastguards were tasked to investigate a report of 3 persons stuck in the mud at Leysdown Beach. The 3 persons were bait diggers and were in no danger.
Saturday 23rd July
- At 1230hrs – Sheppey Coastguards were tasked to assist the Police RIB who were towing a broken down angling vessel into Kingsferry. On recovery safety advice was given.
- At 1900hrs – Sheppey Coastguard, Kent Police and Kent Fire and Rescue Service were called to a 13 year old boy who had become stuck in the mud at Milton creek. He was in the local park and needed a ‘comfort break’. He fell into the mud. He managed to extract himself from the mud and was given the all clear by the Ambulance Crew who were also on scene.
