Win A 1960’s Poster with Big L

Yes, it’s true our Solid 60’s show has been on air since 2012, firstly on Friday evenings

before moving to Saturday mornings in 2013.

Along the way Big L has interviewed some of the decades stars & not so big stars.

From Mike D’abo, Eric Gouldman, songwriter, who was also in 10cc. Mike Sarne, Billie

Davis and Beaky from Dave Dee, Dozy, Beaky, Mick & Tich. As well as Lorraine Silver,

with her Northern Soul hit, ‘Lost Summer Love’ and Paul Quinton from Five Steps Beyond.

Paul wrote or co-wrote some of their songs.

“There are people I wanted to interview like Anita Harris but alas she said no which was

disappointing but at the time she was certainly going through a difficult time.”

Solid 60’s is re-known for finding and playing tracks few other sixties shows or stations do,

meaning the variety is enormous! “And that is something I am very proud of.” says Big L.

Midday, with the top five being played just after the 11am news on the 600th. edition on the
