Woman released from car following crash on M2 near Sittingbourne

01-11-2017 Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to a two vehicle crash on the M2 coast bound between junction 4 for Gillingham and junction 5 for Sittingbourne. On arrival crews found a woman in her late 70s trapped by her injuries. Working together with paramedics, crews assessed the woman before using hydraulic cutting gear to release her from the vehicle. She was placed into the care of SECAmb. Crews made the scene safe.
