On the 76th anniversary from the day of the sinking.
Is the SS Richard Montgomery a danger to the people of North Kent, the Medway towns, Sheppey and Essex?
Is it safe for the Ministry of Defence to remove the masts?
The story of the wreck is told by Ian McShane to be screened with Q & A the film’s producer, director Ken Rowles, local historian Colin Harvey and others with knowledge of the stories of this Liberty Ship.
This will be your opportunity to ask questions and see the programme that the BBC and other broadcaster’s are reluctant to screen . Is the government stopping the documentary as it doesn’t pull any punches.

Your safety and that of our volunteers is our top priority. To keep everyone safe we have introduced a ‘new normal’ – when you enter the theatre please use the hand sanitiser provided and follow the one way system in the corridor. The bar will be open, with seating arranged to keep each party apart, we would prefer you to pay by card please. You may prefer to go straight into the auditorium where you will find seating is socially distanced, we are only using every other row of seats and there will be a 2 seat gap between your party and the next. There is also space to move past people by using the empty row in front as we have removed seats to make a gap in the middle.
Face coverings must be worn for film screenings.
