BRFM Sittingbourne shed hit by lightning and Sittingbourne garage fire

- Firefighters were called to reports of a shed that had been hit by lightning in Orchard Road, Sittingbourne. Crews used a hose reel, short extension ladder and small tools to tackle a small fire in the roof void of the shed.
- Two fire engines responded to a detached garage fire in College Road, Sittingbourne, believed to have been caused by a lightning strike. A hose reel and short extension ladder were used and crews made the scene safe.
