Accident On A249 Brielle Way

The A249 Brielle way has been closed in both directions following an accident involving a car and a motorbike
Police closed the road, and the Kent Air Ambulance is in attendance, a Police spokesman has said
“The motorcyclist has suffered serious injuries and is being treated at the scene. The Kent Air Ambulance is also in attendance. No other injuries were reported.
“A road closure is currently in place and motorists are advised to avoid the area if possible.”
Arriva has reported all its Island services are currently running up to 30 minutes late due to the increased traffic at Halfway traffic lights.
